DEVELOPMENT ON GREEN BELT LAND
There is a significant demand for new housing in the region. One of the highest need is in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, which has a requirement of 1000's of new homes per year until 2033. The Boroughs Local Plan identifies how land is used, determining what and will be built and where. The proposed Local Plan published recently plans to build thousands of homes across several Green Belt sites including greenbelt land locally in the council local plan for development. The council has also identified other greenbelt land for housing and as a result there is the hope that at some point in the future this land could also be released from Green Belt for development although there is of course no guarantee that this would be the case. Please see the plans attached showing these locations. Information on the Borough Local Plan can be found in the Local Development Scheme document http://consult.rbwm.gov.uk/file/4979935 .
The land is located in a prime road in Berkshire with neighboring properties selling in excess of £1million. Set in the heart of the Thames Valley and less than 30 miles by road from central London, the pleasant village of Fifield is set on the B3024 under 3 miles from the centre of Windsor and is within easy reach of the M4 (J8j9), M25 (J15) and Heathrow. Windsor has two central train stations connecting to London's main line stations, Paddington and Waterloo. The range of venues in the area is vast with everything from country house hotels, riverside retreats, a theme park and world famous racecourses. The land benefits from no special development clauses or fees. There are also no service or any charges in keeping the land.
