Tough Market but properties still selling!
There is no doubt that we are experiencing the toughest housing market we have experienced for quite a few years, however, contrary to what is being said on the TV or written in the media there is still excellent demand for properties in all price ranges. Sellers are having to be more competitive with their asking prices but actual sale prices are NOT falling. We have actually sold more properties so far in 2008 than we did at this point in 2007! A new approach to advertising
You may have noticed that recently we have changed the way we advertise our properties. Instead of the typical estate agent's blurb we are careful to indentify the type of buyers who will see the most value in the property we are marketing and then write our advert and feature the best photographs to reflect this 'valuable asset'.
For example, a family with young children are likely to see more value in a property with a large rear garden and within walking distance of the local school than a couple without children. It is not 'rocket science' but it works, we have seen a marked increase in sales of our properties since we made the changes. Call us to discuss your property's most valuable asset!
